Endurance Riders

Endurance and Long Distance Equine Disciplines

Not sure strategies is the best place for this, maybe starting new mounts. We don't have the option to start our own category.

One day I opened my mind and realized that when I was working with my horses, some of the thoughts in my head were theirs not mine. It blew me away, and then I started paying attention more. And getting messages from other people's horses.

I think we all have this ability, but most of us stifle it and don't believe the messages we are hearing, or tell ourselves that it's our thoughts and not the animal's.

anyway, I love to practice. I'm best at talking with horses and dogs, but have also read cats and talked with a deer and a red tailed hawk.

Sometimes I just get impressions and feelings, other times get something quite specific. If you'd like me to ask your horse some questions, I need a picture of it's face and the questions you want asked. I don't charge a fee for this, I just want the experience and if I can help somebody and some animals, that's cool. I've talked with horses in Canada, the US, and Australia.

I'd love to hear from other people who do AC and people who have had experiences good and bad. Later, I'll tell you how I got started....

And if you think I had too much to smoke in the 70's, well, you are entitled to your opinion, LOL. Doesn't hurt my feelings.

OK, darlin, emailed the reading to you. I'll let you decide whether to post it or not. These are kind of private between the animal and person.

You can try with my boy Sinatra if you like. His photo is on my profile. I'd love to know what he thinks about doing the endurance rides and how he likes living at home.

Thanks Chis! This should be fun!

Hey Chris,
I just created my page and saw the discussion here. I have 3 horses and 3 dogs and I think I communicate better with them than with most people! I would be interested to hear what you come up with if you are so inclined. My mare Maria Bonita is basically a companion horse, too many problems to be a safe riding horse but a sweet friend to my old buddy, Bo. She has had a "health challenge" (don't want to give it away :) for the last couple months and I've been communicating to her my belief that she will recover well and that she knows how to heal herself. Am I right with her?

Bo Haskim is the love of my life and he is still doing LDs and goes camping with me and the new mare Z. Is he ok with this new addition and changes in the amount of work I ask of him? It's my number 1 goal to keep him happy.

Z is the newest, I've had her for a year + and she has had 8 previous owners. Has she realized yet that I am her forever friend?

I'll leave the dogs for another time, especially the Jack Russell "terrorist"!! We know he has issues!! This is fun, I have a friend that does Reiki healing and she asked to practice on my horses since she never tried before and she worked on Bo and had some very funny insights from him!

The photos of my horses can be found at ~~ http://www.my-endurance.net/profile/Diane
and my email is dianevieira@hotmail.com

Thanks, Diane

Ok ok so I'll admit I'm a skeptic but here's your chance to prove me wrong (and I am open to being proved wrong:)
http://www.my-endurance.net/profile/Rachel My horse is the chestnut Azeem.

So he's having a training issue right now- what does he say about it, And you can post the answer publicly and I'll reply with my input.

I would love to see some of the other replies and whether the owners think its right or not:)

I'll give azeem a go. when there's something important like a training or health issue, I have my best bud Mary Lisa read also. We read independently, and don't tell each other what we got until after and compare notes. Sometimes we get exactly the same thing and other times we get diff pieces of the puzzle.

I always email responses privately not becasuse I'm afraid to be wrong, but becuase sometimes the info is personal and you might not want it publicized.

I leave it up to you to decide whether to go public.

Hi Bayrab,
I am very interested in this topic and glad to see it being discussed. While I don't seem to be able to do it myself, I do think some folks can communicate with horses and other animals. I would love for you to ask my Arabian mare, Kazi, about her health issues. She has had some serious ones recently. I am not sure how much to tell you to in advance in case you do 'read' her. She is the mare I intended to use as an endurance horse until her problems started, I have done all her training which didn't start until she was already 10 years old.. She is the one I am riding in my i.d. photo here, but I will try to upload a closer photo of her....Thanking you in advance!.....Diane Coleman (not the same Diane who posted earlier)..Ark@i-plus.net
