March Madness - Ride 2
I decided to go up to Cuyamaca for the second day. The Descanso parking had been pretty muddy, not to mention very full of rigs. I figured I would do the second half of my 'normal' ride. Well, it wasn't muddy, but it was windy ! I got started, and rode down the East Side trail to the Highway 79 intersection, then up East Mesa. Right away, we had a small challenge. March Madness - Ride 1
Saturday, March 1.
I did the Blue Ribbon loop up in Descanso, CA. This was my first ride on Caisson since he came down with a cold on President's Day weekend, so I only did about half of our normal ride. I also went by myself, since he is a lot calmer without other horses to compete against. :)
We did the main loop, plus the out-and-back section that leads up to Hwy 79, which was our turn-around point. Met some friends who were out jogging, and ran into Pete Davies just as we came back in. Nic… Continue
