Bowed Tendon Day 6- Adventures in re-wrapping the leg

Posted on November 6, 2009 at 7:20pm 2 Comments

I was reviewing my vet bill from the ultrasound and bowed tendon exam and treatment and noting with some chagrin that I was charged $50.00 just for the sweat bandage wrap the vet tech performed on my mare's leg. However, after taking off that bandage today, and applying my own non-techie version of a standing bandage, I've changed my mind considerably.

First, I had a heck of a time getting the sweat bandage off, even. At first I tried cutting it off, but fugetabutit. Too thick.… Continue

That was at Little Jack's Creek about 10 miles from the Jack's Creek ride.

The one where it is just me is just an optical illusion. I am not really as close and leaning over as it looks.
