Ya when I open the rides in GC the written data under the "Timing" tab is all good. The only weird parts are the profiles in the bottom 2 links, oldest 2 rides. Look at the speed vs time profile to the right. If you put the cursor on the profile the…

All 5 opened right up into GC. Congrats!! For some reason the bottom 2 have the crazy 60-70mph readings in the timing profile. The top 3 look fine so maybe whatever it was got fixed? Did you try double clicking the cell you want to paste into on yo…

Hello Angie, That is a real bummer. Software can be really irritating. Uninstall BaseCamp, you are right, it's terrible. There is an easier solution but you will have to install one more piece of...dare I say it...software. It's made by your favorit…

Hello April, It also makes a difference where you carry the GPS when you ride under tree cover or thru canyons. When the signal gets weakened by obstructions then your body can shield a few more satellites and the GPS loses reception and draws a str…

Well the weather here in SoCal has been real nice until this afternoon. I was a couple miles out on the second horse when it started to rain so I just beat it back to the stable. Why ride in the rain when it will be beautiful again tomorrow? Besides…

Hello April, Did you try to just copy the link and paste it into the vet card? There is something not quite right with your activity. I opened it and the average mph of 4.3mph seems fine but the profile is messed up showing speeds up to 77mph. Just…

I posted the Vet Card message at 11:39pm per all my clocks and my GPS unit. The post below says 12:39am That's 1 hour off. HELP me John Help Help me John....remember that tune???

Okay...I found the problem. This website thinks I'm in the same time zone as John T who made my vet card.....MST/MDT. I'm in Calif...PST/PDT but it won't let me change it so I still need HELP.

Vet Cards

John T,
Can a link to the vet cards be put on the main page? Is it there and I missed it? I checked in for the start at 12:02 PST but my blog shows 1pm or 13:00. I noticed the same thing for Elsie Trumbull. Is there something wrong with the time? Also, this virtual race idea is really great but the forum formatt is driving me nuts (short trip these days). Don, you're so nice! That would be cool. How about, Fanny Peak & beyond & Capps meadows & dead ends. I'll post the links in the track logs so they'll be easy to find. Thanks so much.

Don, I seem to remember you told someone in the group that you could export files from Garmins Map Source to Google Earth, is that right? If so could you send me the specifics as to how you are doing it? Send them to stevesphoto@hughes.net
I seem to be having problems uploading from my Rino to MB, getting frustrating.
Thanks
Steve
