Cricket and I have been having a lot of fun getting to know eachother these past few weeks. However, I noticed that recently he'd started acting really cinchy when I tighten the girth and kept wanting to move off when I went to mount. I moved Cricket to his new barn on Sunday between snow storms. It was a pretty big gamble with the roads, but luckily, they were clear and despite some strong winds, we made it back safely. He settled in immediately, which surprised me since I had so many people telling me he'd be a maniac for a couple weeks whenever we went anywhere new. I kind of mentioned a little about the whole thing in my "about me", but I'll probably change that soon to reflect the new and improved Cricket. I'll just tell the whole story. I'm fairly new to endurance, and so far have only volunteered at rides and done a few conditioning rides on friends' horses during the summer.
