Hi Jeremy,
I'm rather lost here on this site trying to figure out where to click and what not. Raining here again and your tracks are still there. Even got another truck and trailer stuck going out that way last week. It was a light truck and pulling an empty flat bed trailer. I thought the truck had 4 wheel dr. but no it didn't as it spun in the mud. It was one of Paul's friends and Paul just pulled him out with his truck.

Oh, I forgot to ask you aout ASAV. Have you been to the site? Here is the adress: http://www.shagya-arabian-horses-asav.org/index.html

I plan on going to at least one day, if not all 3 days, of the National Meeting in Finchville, KY. I will bring Tucana. They said there would be at least one, maybe more, riding clinics. You should try to come if you can. It's March 14-16th.

When it's closer to time, you'll have to let me know which day you plan to ride. I'm not sure, but I will probably ride Saturday. And probably do the LD. But I'd like to do the 50. And I think Tucana is ready for it. Tucana and I rode at Clark State Forest in September. It's really nice. I'm hoping to ride over there again before Chicken Chase. It's only 2 hours from my house, but I just can't seem to get over there very much!

Tucana is doing pretty well too. I hope to do 50's with her next year. I'll probably have to go it alone though. Daunna's not really all that interested in riding that far and my husband doesn't want to either. He said he'd do one LD ride with me this year. I'm hoping to do ASAV's National Distance Challenge this year and at least one other 50 before that.

I took Tucana to a rding clinic that Daunna had at her place last saturday. She's doing very well. We are working on canter departures in both leads. We'd both rather be on the trail but since it's so muddy, it's nice to ride in an indoor arena with good footing.

Our first ride in 2008 will be Chicken Chase at Clark State Forest (Bill Wilson's place).
