What an awsome video! Not only is it cute, but I think I might have on of me 20 years ago doing the exact same thing! It takes a great horse to put up with all that scrambling. I was always very small for my age and could never just jump on fluidly…

About Me:
I'm Josie McGhee, I'm a college freshman. I'm 18 and I did my first ride when I was 10. I've only ridden 50s/55s and FINALLY one 100. :) I ride a "gray" but basically white arab....guess we don't really stand out from the crowd do we? OH well, his name is TM Cade, and he's unique to me atleast. I got him when he was 4 and I was 15, and trained him myself. (I wouldn't let mom sit on his back for a whole year. :D) We're just racking up miles and seasons now and he's got a few top tens under his belt, so we're planning to move up to 100s (my ultimate goal all along). :) See y'all on the trails!

My own way of choosing a college...

I'm at that point in my life where each and every person's conversation starter when talking to me is,"So what college are you planning on going to?" Of course, since I'm not much of a talker most of the time anyway, it's ok with me because suddenly I can switch into robot mode. I've answered it thousands of times now..why not one more? Second question: "Why are you going THERE? You should branch out and live away from home..try something new!"

haha you're welcome! Yep! The rides are going great! It's kinda funny that I'm not all that far from you! It still feels like we are 6 states apart or whatever lol. I hope to start some general classes at the local college soon, I can't wait! I miss school so much! I know I know....haha

Josie, I loved your No Pony Too Tall video! Really cute! Isn't it nice to think that there's a place where you're always 7 years old? (Well, it will be nice to think that then you're 50! LOL). I'm hoping to be able to show this to my daughter in law to demonstrate the kind of experiences I hope my grandson (currently 16 months old) gets to have as he's growing up. {: >

we did ride a 50 this weekend in the rain, it was cold and windy!
It was our 1st ride in the rain and for sure, it is not so much fun.
I almost quit after the 1st loop, my horse pulled the entire 18 miles of 1st loop, i was exhauted, cold and wet, but we made it and even tied 8th place with my friend Jen, so we are happy, the horses are sound and happy too!
