Hi there! I'd love to talk to you about the boots. Looks like epics in the one photo. I've just began using front epics on my mare last month and have done 6-18 mile conditioning rides at speed with very good success. I'll be ordering a pair of bares for her hind feet when I get my next pay check!!!
I am keen on riding both bitless and barefoot. I find both my horses are much calmer and move more freely like this, and experience lower heart rates. I use boots in tough terrain. They are a pain for me, but good for the horses, so that's what counts.
