A Message for Lynda Webber from an Old Acquaintance

Hi Lynda

Just a message to say hello from an old mate in Australia.. Dave and I often think of you and wonder how you're going. We are now living in the country (about an two hours drive from Melbourne) and looking after our three animals... It was wonderful to find your entry on the Endurance Net and see that you are back riding again. Would like to catch up with you.

The last clinic I took him to was with Ray Hunt who I think is also brilliant. He said Dinero was very smart and not afraid of anything. He also said, and I quote, "Who ever raised this… Continue

Spring is Coming!

Spring is coming, really it is! Well, at least spring is coming to southern California and soon. From my front window I can see the beginnings of spring as a bit of white now dusts the chaparral covered hills. The white native lilac is now in full bloom. The scientists call it the wart stemmed Ceanothus. I call it “open space saver”.

Because the white lilac is a very rare native plant in a rare plant community (coastal sage scrub), its presence has saved hundreds of… Continue

Documentary "Arabian Silk: Horses of Endurance"

"Arabian Silk" was viewed by 185 members of the Pacific Northwest Endurance Riders at their annual convention in Portland, OR on Saturday, January 23rd. There was a lot of laughter from the audience and they really seemed to enjoy the documentary. Here are a few comments I received: "You captured the essence of Endurance, of Us", "I cried", "I loved Jerry, he is such a dead pan". You can view a trailer and clip from the movie at…

Thinking about moving the blog

Or at least putting a parallel blog up, maybe maintaining this one for website updates. I am disappointed at the spam levels I have been seeing. So I worked the last evening on adding wordpress to the main site, trying to make it look pretty and such

What do you think?
