Crazy Horse Ride

You can see the Crazy Horse Ride, the Warriors ride on you tube if you are interested. These rides aren't sanctioned, it's just something we do to give the kids an alternative to drugs and alcohol

Crazy Horse Ride

Hi On June 6th we trailer to Ft. Robinson, Neb. on the 7th we ride from there to Chadron, ne. the next day we ride from there to a place called beaver creek (where Crazy Horse camped) the 9th is a rest day and you get a tour and the history of the campsite. The 10th we ride into Pine Ridge,So. dak. to start the Veterans pow wow. Everyones welcome on these rides. First REAL 50 mile Endurance Ride! Broxton Bridge 2010

After riding a handful of 25s, and 35s it was time to move up. I came in 9th place out of 70 something riders about a month ago so it was time.

Elfin Forest Flower Report, WOW!


I was able to do a short ride here in Elfin Forest after a dressage lesson yesterday. Wow, what a difference a few days made with the wildflowers! The wild wheat has grown at least a foot in the sunny meadows which Jazzi could not ignore. Who needs to life weights when you have a hungry horse? Also in the sunny areas I saw a new addition - bright yellow button flowers made up of very small flowers that nod in the breeze. I do not know their name.

It is a very strange and well, grown up Mother’s Day here at the Lazy J Ranch. I received an early morning call from my very good non-horse friend, Suzie who has been at a spiritual retreat in the Rockies for the past week. Suzie and I have been friends and co-workers for many years working on birth injury and catastrophic injury cases (we have seen a lot of trauma together).
