Want to train on the Tevis trail?

I would like to form a group of riders who want to train on the Tevis trail in 2008. We can train on the lower half in spring and move up to the high country when the snow melts and it gets hot here.



Please email me if you are interested. All you need is a reasonably fit horse (able to do 20 miles or so) who is safe with others, and on technical trails, and trailers well. You personally are expected to be pretty low maintenance and have a sense of fun!

New Year Committments

It has become apparent to me that I have been too easy on myself in preparing for my first endurance ride with my ever faithful mare, Valentina. Therefore, we are stepping up our training. Will keep you all posted! For now it's 5 months, 50 pounds less, to prepare for a 30 mile! Okay it's not a big whooptiedo...but for me it is!

the concept: have a virtual endurance ride - save on gas and time. just ride locally (or virtually same place - different time!!)
