Endurance Riders

Endurance and Long Distance Equine Disciplines

We are new to the breeding business and so any advice would definitely be appriciated. I am also a new rider to the endurance scene. I have conditioned them for others and of course I spent many an hour in the saddle with my mares and one gelding. I've been riding all my life mainly on Mustangs and Arabs. My uncle was a mustang man for 40 years rounding them up in eastern Oregon so obtaining a horse was never a problem. Just because I am a very experienced rider doesn't mean I know anything about racing said horses so multiple advisers would be very helpful to me. The last thing I want to do is hurt my horse. I have Tezeros Khadesha that I plan to start riding in these events she has far more experience than I do!!! I just want to match my horse in at least a minimal way when It comes to these events. The next horse I plan to race is a filly out of her with either Tezeros Reflection or Half pint out of witezII He carry's 50% witez blood and would be an excellent choice as well. So in conclusion ANY and all advice about racing , conditioning, tack, and any other topic will be greedily accepted and appreciated  HELP would be a succinct way to sum it all up. By the By if you are interested in my website feel free to visit it at www.tezero-witez2arabians.com.

Thank you and God Bless

That sounds great! I actually won't be out at the farm tomorrow, but the owner Pamela will be. Tell her you had talked to me on endurance.net and wanted to know more about breeding and conditioning your horses for endurance. She would love to tell you all about it!

The farm I work at, this year was the last summer we raced. I'm not as familiar with the race training as the owner, Pamela is. I would suggest taking a look at our website (still a work in progress) www.resolutefarmsracing.com

You can contact any of us.
