Currently in transition but looking forward to new adventures and meeting new people, while maintaining my current strong support group of friends. Have ridden all my life beginning with 4H and horse shows(Western pleasure, trail and hunter pleasure). Tried endurance riding in the 1980s, quit for several years and started again six years ago. Currently working toward 3000 medallion on my Arabian gelding, Twister.

I don't think the average Endurance Rider has IV supplies at hand.
Nor do most have IV drugs on hand. I personally do have Bute paste
now. Nearly every Endurance Rider I know has a first aid kit at some
level or another.
Bare necessities for me are: Vet Wrap, ice wraps, bandage (usually a
kotex) for bleeding, polo wraps. All of this I can carry on the
saddle have in the trailer.
