Dec 26 off and .....walking

I headed out later in the day then planned. It starts to get dark here by 4 oclock and the temps drop quick when the sun goes down.
My son is home for Christmas and I saddled up my green horse Chinook to ride with me. Did not have a helmet that fits him so stayed at a walk. The snow would soften the fall if he had one. I don't think the average Endurance Rider has IV supplies at hand.
Nor do most have IV drugs on hand. I personally do have Bute paste
now. Nearly every Endurance Rider I know has a first aid kit at some
level or another.

Bare necessities for me are: Vet Wrap, ice wraps, bandage (usually a
kotex) for bleeding, polo wraps. All of this I can carry on the
saddle have in the trailer.
