Hopefully, Leonard, I haven't bastardized the french language too badly here. I promise I'll dig out the old text books and study up on my french.

I'll try but right now it's raining here and with our rotten country electric grid the power keeps going out! But tomorrow we should have sun again.

Bonjour Leo,

I can see that I will need to brush up on my French. :) Welcome to endurance riders. Look forward to all of your valuable input in this forum.

Thankyou! :) He's my pride and joy so I really appreciate the compliment. We actually don't know his breeding (no names) ...but we know his sire and dam were both racehorses...and to put it short and sweet they thought the dam didn't take and after lots of family issues with the owners she wound up in a cheap auction, later had Cade, and any records were just lost and forgotten in the process. (oh and he's a gelding)

There you go, Silver City somewhere up in those snow-covered hills on Friday Jan 4! Maybe I can talk Carol into riding with me up there today. (not!)

I don't think the average Endurance Rider has IV supplies at hand.
Nor do most have IV drugs on hand. I personally do have Bute paste
now. Nearly every Endurance Rider I know has a first aid kit at some
level or another.

Bare necessities for me are: Vet Wrap, ice wraps, bandage (usually a
kotex) for bleeding, polo wraps. All of this I can carry on the
saddle have in the trailer.
