My Profile Photo

Lest people think I ride like that all the time...My profile photo was taken by my husband Daniel (http://www.picturesdanieltook.com) at the finish line of the Yellowhammer 2007 ride on the first day. Crossing that finish line represented 1000 miles for my horse, Tanna, and me together.

I don't think the average Endurance Rider has IV supplies at hand.
Nor do most have IV drugs on hand. I personally do have Bute paste
now. Nearly every Endurance Rider I know has a first aid kit at some
level or another.

Bare necessities for me are: Vet Wrap, ice wraps, bandage (usually a
kotex) for bleeding, polo wraps. All of this I can carry on the
saddle have in the trailer.
