Uno goes for a spin

I haven't managed to get Uno out as much as I'd like, so he's looking very plump, but now that Roo's on break after his 100, hopefully Uno will get more work. Anyhoo, here's a loop we did this evening around Cronin Ranch. My friend Ann came along and rode Hopi (even more needed), so we spent quite a bit of time schooling him, since he was leaping about - hence the slooooowwww speed. All three horses were barefoot - and Uno needs to wear boots if I'm going to be so enthusiastic with my rasping. S…

Howdy Lucy,
I've got about 58 acres the runs into my neighbor Tims place. (Bought it from him actually.) He still has 650+/- acres plus BLM leases. So I can ride about 1200 or so acres right here. There's another 1500 acres across the road from Tim's Mom's place that I haven't even begun to check out yet.
When my husband & I moved out here last spring, it was the best thing we'd ever done! I love it here & am already so spoiled that I can ride so many days & only share a short in & out of the same trail, the rest is all different.
All of my trails are in the Black Hills.
Congrats to you on your 1st Place. Great job!

Your Death Valley miles will count IF you upload your track-logs and fill out your vet cards:) Any miles you do, anywhere in the world between the 25th and the 8th will count:) DVE alone could insure that you win if you do all 4 days!!)

I don't think the average Endurance Rider has IV supplies at hand.
Nor do most have IV drugs on hand. I personally do have Bute paste
now. Nearly every Endurance Rider I know has a first aid kit at some
level or another.

Bare necessities for me are: Vet Wrap, ice wraps, bandage (usually a
kotex) for bleeding, polo wraps. All of this I can carry on the
saddle have in the trailer.
